mortgage paid off in full - what do I do in terms of land registry?

Hello,

I paid my mortgage off in full in December 2024. and have now received a letter from Skipton Building Society confirming this. They advised me to contact the Land Registry but I’m entirely unsure as to who I am meant to contact and why. Please can you help?
