Correct postal address + AP1 form lead time

Hi,

I recently sent off an AP1 form for a surname change for my wife and I following our marriage. We used one of those name switch services which provided an address in Gloucester for the AP1 to be sent to, but reading this forum I've realised that the public postal address is in Bilston. Have I essentially sent our AP1 form off into the void?

When I do get it to the right place, what is the current lead time for a surname change evidenced via an AP1 form with a deed poll?

Hi Alex - the previous address was in Glos but has changed recently. There will be a redirect so no void hopefully
Current average wait times would be around 4 months
