I bought a buy to let property on a huge plot of land in my name years ago. After several years i applied for planning permission to build 2 maisonettes on the land.

When splitting the title, am i allowed to register the new maisonettes in a Limited Company. I understand the existing property will have to stay in my name but what about the newly built ones?

Dan - if you want to transfer the legal ownership of part of a title to a limited comp[any then you can. By doing so the transferred part will be removed and given it's own title number as appropriate
