Registered Owners of Property Question

Hello,

The registered owner on the title deeds for my parent’s house is a company named Erbelon Limited instead of my parents, is this just an update issue regarding a recently paid off mortgage or because they actually own the land the property is on? The company is also linked in ownership to two neighbouring properties. I'm struggling to find accurate information on this so any help is appreciated, thank you.

The address is 14 Railway Street, Hadfield, the title number is DY435558. My parents also pay ground rent, so could that be where the discrepancy is being caused?

Hello Sarah -  I am assuming you have viewed the title register of DY435558. 

As stated in the title register, title DY435558 is the freehold title for 14 Railway Street and two other properties.  The other two properties are also registered separately under their own leasehold titles. 

I have not found any record of us having received any application to register 14 Railway Street either as a leasehold title or by way of transfer of the freehold.  If, as you have stated, your parents paid off a mortgage then the question arises was that ever registered.  Did the lender provide any documents which reveal any more information?
