Adding rights of way to title

We're in the process of buying a property that is accessed across a communal yard. The title for the yard shows that the property we're buying has rights of way across the yard, I've spoken to the owner and he confirms this.<br> Our solicitor has expressed concerns that the title for our property doesn't show this access at all.<br> They want it registered against our title also, so there are no doubts about future access. They say it may have been a mistake with the initial registration, the properties are circa 150 yrs old .<br> <br> Is this a complex thing to do, time frames etc. Thanks&#160;
