Do I need ID1 for each beneficiary of an assent?

Hello,
I am preparing to submit an AP1 and AS1 form for assent of a property from my mother (the deceased) to myself and my wife. I am the personal representative and I have a grant of probate. I have a completed ID1 form certified by a solicitor.
As a joint beneficiary, does my wife also need to get a certified ID1 form even though she is not submitting the application?
Thanks in advance
Jon

Many thanks for confirming, Adam
One further question if I may. The video guidance for AP1 suggests sending self-certified photocopies of documents for evidence, but the online guidance for "Update Propoerty records when someone dies" suggests the original grant of probate should be sent. Can you confirm which is correct - should I send the original grant?

Jon - don't send the original. If you do then we will scan it and then return the original but we don;t want you risking it being lost in the post
