My mum has died and left her half of the jointly owned house as beneficial tennat in common in the freehold property to the trustees with the following provisions

While my said husband remains alive and desires to reside in the property and keeps the same in good repair and insured comprehensively

What forms do I need to fill in for this?

Thanks in advance

Hello Sarah - The forms you need to fill will depend on what exactly you are trying to do.  Please refer to the guidance on our website on How to update property records when someone has died.

Hi

Thank you I looked at that before I posted and did not understand which form I would need

broken down mum has died dad is still alive, he will now own half the house as before and the other half remains with his half until he dies at which point the 5 trusties will be left the half in trust and his half

Hi Sarah - Thank you for the additional information.

So it appears that you just want to update the register to remove your mother's name from it.  There is no other change happening.  If my assumption is correct, then you need to complete a form DJP and send it together with a certified copy of your mother's death certificate.
