Our mortgage was in my name only, however I have recently finished paying off the mortgage, and I would like to add my wife's name to the title deeds of our home.
The title deeds are in my name only, and are apparently held electronically by Land Registry.
I would like to apply for a copy of the deeds, but I would like to add my wife's name to the deeds first.
What do I need to do please, what are the steps, who do I contact, what forms do I need etc ?
