Hi,
Myself and my 2 sons bought a small chapel in order to convert to residental. Planning is approved, but I my circumstances have changed and they are taking over the project, so I need my name removed for the title deeds. Can we just complete and submit form TR1 or is there anything else we need to do?

Hi Graham - our online guidance explains how the three of you can transfer the legal ownership to just the two
Registering land or property with HM Land Registry: Change the registered owner name - GOV.UK

We have two properties, both with my husband's name still on the deeds. My husband died three years ago and it seems this was not attended to at the time. I now wish to sell one of the properties so need to remove his name and replace it with my daughter's name.

Pamela - if you want to transfer the legal ownership from yourself to both you and your daughter then our online guidance explains how - Registering land or property with HM Land Registry: Change the registered owner name - GOV.UK
You'll need to submit a certified copy of your late husband's death certificate as well

Land registration is complex, designed to protect legal and financial interests in property. There can be significant consequences for any error. Please consider seeking legal representation. Before making an application without legal representation, it is important to consider the benefits of using a conveyancer.

How do I go about getting my name removed from Title Deeds on an existing mortgage with my ex wife? I have no financial gain from the property, as there has been a financial settlement. I'm on the deeds in name only for security reasons. My partner & I wish to buy a property & with me being on existing Title Deeds, I could be subject to higher Stamp Duty because of it.

Ian - if you are a registered legal owner then the title/property needs to be transferred - Registering land or property with HM Land Registry: Change the registered owner name - GOV.UK
If the property is mortgaged the lender is likely to insist that you use a conveyancer
