Change of Trustees as proprietors

The sailing club I am secretary of holds leasehold and freehold land under ownership via our trustees. We are about to appoint two new trustees to replace two who are retiring. The leasehold land we own currently shows the owners as 'THE TRUSTEES OF PORTHPEAN SAILING CLUB' without naming the individuals. The freehold land however shows the owners as the individual trustees by name. Should we apply for both registers to be updated to show the trustees individually as proprietors once we have appointed our new trustees or can we leave the leasehold title as it is?

As a further question, unfortunately the information on the freehold title is out of date as one of the trustees shown has retired and been replaced and unfortunately registration was overlooked. Do we need to get that former trustee to execute a transfer document or will providing the deed of appointment of new trustee be enough? Would we need to do two transfer documents, one to update the out of date trustee to his replacement and then another to remove the two retiring trustees and put on the new trustees. Sorry for the convoluted enquiry, I hope it makes some sort of sense!
