Processing Lease purchase

We purchased the lease for our property a while ago, unfortunately right in the middle of this we had a family tradergy and 2 members of the family died. This means that a number of years passed and we discovered that we had not registered the lease we purchased with the Land registry office at the time due to the mentioned bereavements. We have all the documetation and i am wondering how we can proceed from here.

Anthony - you need to apply as you would have at the time and include an explanation for the delay in doing so. That doesn't have to be in any detail and along same lines as you have shared here
