The title register for my house bought 21 years ago does not show my middle name.  I cannot say whether this was a mistake made by the solicitors who did the conveyancing for me or I had perhaps not told them of my middle name. That no longer matters.

I am thinking of selling, will the absence of my middle name on the register cause a problem when my full name as shown on my passport comes up in the identity checks which are routinely carried out these days?

If so how do I correct the register before putting the house on the market?

John - whether it's a problem will usually depend on the conveyancers involved and whether they are happy to accept any documentary evidence they (we) will need to confirm the correct name.
If you want to apply to update the register to match your passport or driving licence, based on a copy passport (or the passport page naming you) or driving licence. Use form AP1. There is no fee.
Post the application to HM Land Registry Citizen Centre
