Tenants in common - changing share

Hi 

My partner and I are tenants in common and I want to give him and additional 5% of the property.  How do I do that?

Hi Sarah - not something we can advise you on as we don't record or register the % shares so we don't need to be informed. Most tenants in common apply for a form A restriction and that does not refer to the % shares
I would suggest starting with how you decided on and formalised the initial % split and go from there. If you had a formal agreement, trust deed or wills referring to same then make the change accordingly and formalise it between yourselves.
That would be the same if you formalised it in the Transfer deed when you bought. Make a formal agreement now to reflect the new % as appropriate
