Hi, I am selling a property but there seems to be a title restriction due to there being a management company involved.
My current management company have stated that they cannot issue a certificate of compliance to allow me to sell.
The company named on my title is no longer existent and according to companies house is under a different name. My solicitor has reached out to the company (under the new name) and they have stated that they can not locate this property on their records and have no interest in it.
How can I go ahead and gain a certificate of compliance?

Hi Kulvi Singh - Please see the guidance in our Practice Guide 19A.  Your solicitor should be able to consider what to do.
