Brother & sister hold freehold property as Joint Tenants. Sister to transfer (gift - no consideration involved) to her daughter with title to remain as Joint Tenants. Brother is agreeable. Is TR1 sufficient or is a separate Deed of Gift/Transfer required?

Sandra - if the property is registered then the ;legal ownership van only be transferred using the prescribed form TR1.
I suspect you are referring to a 'deed of gift' as the transfer can be referred to in that way due to the 'no monies changing hands' so it's a gift and a legal deed also.

Adam - thank for your prompt response. So just to confirm for registering do I just need TR1, ID1s for Transferors and Transferees, and AP1 with copy of Deed of Gift?

Sandra - AP1 (application form), TR1 (legal deed by which the ownership is being transferred), ID1s for all parties.
No deed of gift.
