If i completed on a transfer of equity on my previous house on 17th December and simultaneously bought my own that day - the land registry hasn't processed the transfer of equity application yet, and the mortgage provider and help to buy have not removed my name from the same.. that sole owner now has missed mortgage payments since the time of the transfer, am i still liable for that? Can i expedite an application if it was submitted by my ex partners solicitors?

Lauren - we wouldn't be able to advise on that point and very much one for the mortgage provider/conveyancer(s) involved. If there's an urgency such as a linked transaction or specific hardship anyone can request expedition https://www.gov.uk/guidance/request-an-expedite
