Does RX1 prevent a charging order?

I am in dispute with my builder and he is threatening to get a charging order on my house.

Would RX1 protect me from this?

Hi Mae - no. A form RX1 is an application to register a restriction and protects the restrictioner, not the registered owner.
It's legal advice you need here to 'protect' yourself presumably by taking action to defend yourself in court?
If your builder goes to court and obtains a charging order then he would be follow our Practice Guide with regards bow to protect such an order
