Hello again

My solicitors have updated me.

In regards to the correspondence from HM Land Registry they’ve received today, they have said that before they prepare the certificate for signing by the managing agents they have a query that they have asked to be clarified so they can get things right the first time otherwise it’ll incur further costs if things need to be amended by the management company (of which I’m not paying!).

Would it be possible to confirm if they have indeed asked for this clarification?

I don’t mean to doubt what they’re telling me but due to historical issues I’m now on their case & must satisfy myself things are being done.

I’ve asked them to let me know what their query with you is. Just for my satisfaction.

Hopefully we’re getting somewhere now.

kind regards

Hello

would it be possible to update as to whether my solicitors have lodged the application again please?

They’re telling me they have but unfortunately due to historical poor performance I’ve lost faith in what they tell me they’ve done!

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards

Hello Jason - we've had no reply to our letter dated 10th Dec. It's a compliance certificate that's needed rather than a second application and I would expect them to provide same through their secure portal straight to the case. That's not happened as yet, sorry
Worth asking them to be precise re what they have lodged, when and how and we can check again if that differs from what I have posted here
BK369569

Thank you

it’s so frustrating to me as they had a copy of this certificate, sourced by myself before exchange of contract last year.

All they needed to do was to add names, a date & have it signed by the management company.

I’ll get back onto them now.

Thanls for your fast reply.

Hi Jason - they replied on 23rd Jan and the case is now waiting for final wider checks to complete. Those involve contacting the restrictioner on the title and they are given time to respond (18th Feb). If they don't respond by then the case is usually completed a few days after that date
BK369569
