Hi, my sale is on hold until a Unilateral notice has been removed from the Title register. My solicitor states Land Registry cannot give a timescale but it is putting my sale in jeopardy. Is there any way I can check to see how long this may take.
Details are:
HM Land Registry Ref: E966YVT
Priority Date: 25 April 2025
Logged by: Jobsons Solicitors Limited
Customer ref: 2072
Application progress: Received: Priority Protected- Awaiting Processing
Hi Marina - the details you have shared are correct and wait times are very long at present. You/the solicitor should request expedition to reduce that wait time - Request an expedite - GOV.UK
I should stress that expedition isn't a magic wand re completing the process as everything has to be in order of course
E966YVT - WM927934

thank you. Looking at the request to expedite. It states you cannot expedite if the application is already in progress. Is this correct?

We will not expedite an application:

already in progress

Marina - that's correct as in processing has started. That's not started as yet and it has only been submitted

Hi Marina - the application was submitted on 25th April but has yet to be expedited. Unsure who told you that the request was expedited but that's not yet happened - see the link provided in the previous post if expedition is now required
WM927934

I have now been told it has been expedited. Can you see if this is the case?
