If a postcode is wrong on the title and completion is now urgent, can this be updated post-completion with the AP1? What evidence would be required? Or can the seller's solicitor apply to get this corrected and expedite?

A E - the register can be updated at any time but some transactions can't complete if the information does not match. Best to check if the mismatch prevents completion or not first. Invariably it is the buyer's mortgage lender who raises such an issue as it prevents their systems from saying Yes re the mortgage being offered If it does then a request to update the register can be submitted and expedited in light of the next and reliant transaction. Speak to your own conveyancer to confirm as appropriate

Thank you - can this be done via the contact form below and then apply to expedite using the same form again once we have a reference? https://customerhelp.landregistry.gov.uk/guide-page-external/?stepid=2b31bc48-eb96-eb11-b1ac-002248413956

A E - you can use the contact form and it will be dealt with as appropriate. Only an actual application can be expedited. Beofre doing anything yourself to try and correct matters please do check with the conveyancers/lender involved to confirm the need for an amendment before completion
