Hi, Does land registry documents generally hold percentage shares of ownership when a property is owned by more than one person. For example, my Nan's property over the years has been split between my Dad, my mum's brother and my Nan...in my Grandad's will it says the share is 50%, 25% and 25%...and the TP1 form we have shows the 3 names, but not a percentage split - we are just looking at pre-empting any issues if anything happens to my Nan (she's 102!) - hope that makes sense? Thanks Alan

Hi Alan - applicants and parties to transfers and so on can include such %s in the submitted paperwork. But that detail does not make it onto the register itself If the TP1 (transfer) does not state a % then I doubt if anything else we hold will but you can use our contact form to submit the specific details re title number and Question. The support team can check and respond to confirm Yes/No and if a Yes what's available and how to get a copy https://www.gov.uk/guidance/contact-hm-land-registry#contact-form
