How long does it take for an expedited staircasing application to be noted on the Title Register?

Apparently it needs to be noted/re-registered with the Land Registry as this was not done originally at final staircasing in 2008.

Original Memorandum of Staircasing is no longer available from the Housing Association or my solicitors as the statutory period to keep such documents (7 years) has now passed.

All relevant documents, including a Confirmation of Staircasing letter, have been submitted via my solicitors.

Your quick/swift response will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Oyewole - The expedited application related to an application to cancel a Unilateral Notice on the title. This application was completed on 9 October.

The application to register staircasing was submitted on 23 September and is awaiting to be looked. The application does not indicate to have been expedited.

I cannot tell you when the application may be processed but our current processing times can be found on our website on GOV.UK.

I hope this is of some help.

Hi Adam,

Thanks ever so much for your response.

Can I personally request for it to be expedited now or does it have to be done via the solicitors?

Hi Adam,

I was also under the impression that the UN application was submitted in early August.

Is that not the case?

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Oyewole - you can request expedition but, just like the applicant, you need to provide supporting evidence re the urgency involved
The UN application was submitted in early August and completed on 9th Oct. The conveyancer submitted the second application on 23rd September
I'll flag it with the casework team to ask them to consider making it an expedite in light of their previous request to do so re the first case
TGL205021

Hi Adam,

Thanks again for your response and your decision to ask the casework team to expedite the second application i.e noting the 100% staircasing on the register.

Would you be kind to confirm when the note has been placed on the register?

Thanks for all your assistance.
