I have received a notice to register a restriction against my property based on a court order to pay school fees to my ex partner for my child.
The restriction reads:
RESTRICTION: No disposition of the registered estate by the proprietor of the registered estate is to be registered without a certificate signed by XXX that the provisions of paragraph 3 of a Court Order dated XXX have been complied with.
This feels like it gives my ex a lot of power over what I do with my property. There does seem to be a lot of different options for the restriction wording and I wonder if there is a better one which just states that the court order is complied with and doesn’t require her to sign a certificate?
