Addition of spouse to rental house registry

Hello  - I wish to add my wife the land register of a rental property we have to become tenants in common - do I use TP1 or AP1?

 

Rowland - if you want to update the register from your sole name to joint names then you need forms AP1, TR1 and ID1/ID3 - see our online guidance 

Thanks for this - 1 question on ID1 Section B 2a - notary public - can this be a retired police officer ?

Rowland - not with form ID1 no. Form ID3 can be used in that way - please refer to PG 67 re how to have your identities verified as appropriate
