Transferring a car parking space from management company

Hello, 

I wonder if you can help me. 

I own a house in a small courtyard which serves 10 houses. There is a management company that owns the courtyard but this has been taken over by the residents and I am now a director of this management company. The car parking space in front of my property belongs to the management company whilst everyone else’s belongs to their own title. How do I go about changing the car parking space from the management companies title to mine?

Hello Claudine - if the freehold ownership of the space (land) is to be transferred then it would be by way of a transfer of part - Registering land or property with HM Land Registry: Change the registered owner name - GOV.UK
