How long to process discharge?

Hi, I've paid off my mortgage and have had a notification through the property alert system that my lender has applied for a discharge. How long does this usually take to process? I'd like to buy a copy of the title register, but not until it's all updated.

Hi Jessica - if it's a major lender they usually update the register electronically, so in seconds. The average wait time between them notifying you and then doing that is around 2-3 weeks.
