Hello there I am in the process of re-mortgaging and need the title register updated. We started the process in April and after a bit of back/forth my solicitor sent the final batch of requested information on 29 May. So far no word from the Case Officer on the status of this despite requesting this be expedited back in April. It is essential to my re-mortgage request that I get the title changed before the end of June. Can you see what is happening? If this doesn't happen in time it will cost me *£000s. Hello Adam - There has been an issue with the quality of deed submitted and whilst the solicitors have tried to address that, the deed is still of poor quality. We informed the solicitors on 29 May itself. I have made my colleagues in the processing team aware of your situation. They are going to consult a senior officer to see if we can proceed on the basis of the latest copy of deed provided to us. I have asked them to update me so will let you know here when I have some information. Hope this helps.
