Good morning
We are waiting to complete on the sale of our house.
Black horse finance sent forms to you 3 weeks ago to have a charge removed which should have been removed 8 years ago
Checked with my solicitors today who inform me you still have nothing on your system.
How long should it take from posting form to you starting the process.
I am worried that my buyers will pull out . Were due to complete 3rd July

Regards
Steve

Good Afternoon Steven - still nothing received against that title.
They need to submit a form CN1 plus supporting evidence to confirm removal of the charge
Once submitted they (you) need to request expedition separately - Request an expedite - GOV.UK
Expedition isn't a magic wand but generally speaking means the application processing starts within 10 days. Everything then hinges on the application being in order of course
WSX210839

Good afternoon Adam

If the forms were sent 3 weeks ago should you have received them by now.

Regards
Steve

Steven - most certainly. The post can be slow at times but 3 weeks is way too long in normal circumstances
Once submitted they should receive an acknowledgement confirming the title number and our case (ABR) reference. Ask them to confirm those details to you once known - that way you know they've sent them in and they have arrived also
WSX210839

Hello Adam

Thank you for your reply. Apparently they sent forms twice.
Can you confirm they can only submit via post and not through portal if they have access.

Regards
Steve

Good Morning Steven - the application was added to the system for processing today. Unsure why if posted on 3rd it took until now for it to arrive and be added. It has been expedited so processing will start asap
WSX210839

Good morning Adam

Thank you for the reply
As this is just removal of charge how long does it normally take once someone looks at it. As buyer has deadline of 18th May need to talk to them.

Regards
Steve

Steve - expedition gets it processed asap generally and usually within 3-5 days. It's then all a Q of whether it needs approval by a senior officer or not. Suggest you post again in a few days and we can check for an update
WSX210839
