Hello Laura - the expedite request has not been rejected and the case is expedited.
However this development has a very large number of pending applications against it, others of which are also expedited, and that is a genuine reason for a lack of progress to date. Applications must be considered in their 'priority' order hence the ongoing delay.
Priority order is nothing to do with the specific urgency but the order they have been submitted and what impact each has on the other in a very long line of cases.
I'll ask the casework team for an update to see what they can advise and will share once I have something concrete back from them

Thank you Adam this would be most helpful. If we could get reassurance that it will be expedited, and even some rough approximate timescales then that would save the situation as we’d at least know if it was worth holding on, renting etc.

Laura - it has been expedited but that's not a magic wand sadly for the reasons I have explained
But I shall share again once I know more re possible timescales or issues

Sorry, yes, I meant knowing that it had not been rejected for expedition is helpful. I appreciate that within that expedite queue then it is below other cases.
Thank you so much for looking for an update.

Hi Laura - progress is being made re this development albeit still not at the pace you might want.
The casework team have moved matters forward in such a way that the urgent plot purchases, inc this one, will hopefully be processed in the coming days.
Everything then hinges on them being in order and if they are then hopefully the registrations can be completed swiftly.
Just wanted to update you

Hi Laura - the conveyancer managed to respond quickly and in full so the registration has now been completed. Hopefully you can now move forward positively from here
