Title number

Evening 

We are in the process of purchasing a property and need this to exchange and complete be next Friday.

The property itself is registered as an absolute title but the garden has just been given a title number as the current vendors bought this sometime ago but couldn't find any proof of ownership.

We cannot exchange until registration is complete and we know what this small piece of land is being registered as...

Ashley - very much so as the ownership can only be claimed as no paper proof of ownership found. It can and does happen a lot and it's a familiar issue that conveyancers, lenders and buyers are able to resolve to enable completion to take place. But if you have any concerns then do discuss the specific impact with your conveyancer for confirmation and reassurance

Thank you again for your help, the vendors solicitors I have been told as now replied to the further queries.

I understand we now just need the land registering be it apoloute or possession title.

How long would this take as the people buying our property will pull out of the sale of the process carries on much longer
