Hi,

I am hoping somebody can advise me on how to amend an address stated in several titles. The building and land covered in GM83038 was converted into 4 flats with title references GM543160, GM542101, GM543754 and GM551525 with other land in GM542100.

I own one of the flats and am also a Director for the Management Company. In the Proprietorship Register section under Title Absolute it states that no disposition is to be registered without the consent of the Management Company but the address stated is from 1990 and no longer accurate which I think has caused delays and confusion for people buying and selling. How do I get this address updated on each of the relevant titles?

Thanks for your help,
Matt

Hi Matthew - you can apply to update the address using form AP1 (panels 1-7 inc and 15) - Change the register (AP1) - GOV.UK
You'll need to include supporting evidence to demonstrate that you are a Director and have the authority to update the address itself.
I should stress that only one of the titles you have quoted, GM542101, includes a restriction in favour of the Management Co. If a restriction should be on the other three titles then you'll need to consider making a request to amend each of them
Contact HM Land Registry - GOV.UK
R applying to register a restriction using form RX1 - Practice guide 19: notices, restrictions and the protection of third-party interests in the register - GOV.UK
