When will the mortgage lender remove the charge from registry

The mortgage with the Leeds was repaid fully on the 8th April 2025. I have spoken to the Leeds re taking the charge off the registry ,I am still waiting for them to call me back as they did not know if it had been or when it would be removed. How long does it normally take. I need to know if it has been removed so i can move forward

Jennie - most lenders apply to update the register within 2-4 weeks of confirming with you that the mortgage has been redeemed/paid
