An application was made on 21 October 2025 in respect of MAN234533 by Farleys to expedite the removal of restrictions.  Please could you advise how long these types of application take?  Apparently it needs to be dealt with via a Senior Technician. The sale is on the verge of collapse.

Anne - The application is still with a senior officer.

Each application is dealt with on its own merit so it is not possible to say how long it may take.  I will check with the processing team if there is something they can do to speed up the process.

Thanks for letting me know Nimish.  I think I'd need a Christmas miracle.  I just wanted to know what was going on.  Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Hello Nimish , desperate woman again.  Did the processing Team advise whether there was something that they could do to speed things up or where this application is in the queue?   I suppose bribes of cookies/cake/flowers weren't suggested ...  A bit of gallows humour for you - not a serious attempt to bribe a Civil Servant.  And I know pestering is more likely to get me put to the bottom of what I assume is a very large list but I am someone at the end of my tether.  TIA.

Hello Anne - Sorry but none of those attempts would make any difference.

The application is being processed but there are queries that need to be resolved before we can proceed further.  We have written to Farleys on 29 November and are now waiting for their response.

Thank you yet again Nimish.  At least I get speedier responses from you than I do the conveyancers.  Much obliged.

Nimish - I know you can't give me timescales but if the solicitors do reply with answers to the queries, does the application go back to the bottom of the queue or will it be prioritised as it has been partially processed?  Asking as my buyer is (understandably) about to explode.  It's a two property chain that is 37 weeks in so you can fill see why.  Thanks.

Anne - the application remains expedited so it will be processed asap once they have replied. But everything hinges on them responding and of course correctly to enable matters to progress.

Thanks Adam - as you can see, I pester your colleagues too.

Anne - nobody is ever a pest and we too are human so do understand the need for information at such a stressful time.
