Upgrade from possessory title to title absolute

Hello,

I own a piece of land adjoining my property, which is held under possessory title. As more than 12 years have elapsed I would like to upgrade this to title absolute. Am I correct in thinking that I only need to complete form UT1 and that no other forms are required to support this application? I would also like to confirm the charge for this online and by post, as I have been unable to find details of the associated charge on the Gov.uk websites.

Hello Laura - form UT1 is the correct form = see section 3.2.1 Practice guide 42: upgrading the class of title - GOV.UK
A fixed fee of £40 is payable by cheque/postal order to HM Land Registry
Postal only application - HM Land Registry address for applications - GOV.UK
