Bought a new build over 4 years ago and still not in our name. Will cause issues when selling?

We purchased a new build property over 4 years ago and we are looking to sell now and have accepted an offer but it has now come to our attention that the title register is in the developers name and not in mine or my wifes name. Will this cause a problem when selling our property?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Mustafa - that all depends on the conveyancers/buyer as to whether it is an issue or not.
What's the postal address/plot number and title number please as 4 years is a very long time?

The post code is M6 7FJ and the plot number is 24 and Address is 43 Egmont street, Salford. Unfortunately I don’t have a title number.

Hi Mustafa - many thanks. The current application was submitted back in June 2024 and it's waiting to be processed. 
There was a prior attempt to register it back in 2021 but that was cancelled in 2022 and hopefully your conveyancer can explain why
I'll flag with the casework team to ask for an update re next steps - suggest you post again later in week or early next and we can check again to see if any progress has been made

I am aware about the previous application being cancelled.

I just wanted to know if there was a current application waiting to be processed and if it was in my name Mustafa Karim and my wife Selma Ayduz?

Additionally, I spoke to one of your colleagues yesterday and they said they will expedite it as the sale of my house could fall through and I will get an email to confirm the expedition but I didn’t receive anything. Can you check if it has been expedited?

Hi Mustafa - we are still waiting for a full response from the conveyancer. Their last reply was on 28th March when they confirmed that they were contacting the other side, which I assume means the seller/landlord

Hi Mustafa - the conveyancer replied on 15th May but their reply was insufficient and we contacted them again. Now waiting for a further response from them

I have been in touch with my solicitors just now and they have told me they replied to yourselves on the same day -15th of May and they have had no further correspondence. Could please check if that’s the case?
