Please can you check if adverse possession claim NK471118 from 2017 was cancelled or went ahead. My neighbour NK 179033 now NK494002 says it did but I can't tell from his title plan and mine NK219562 has not been updated. I had objected to the claim but we came to an agreement which involved adjustment of the land claimed. I have had no correspondence about this and I am about to cut down the boundary hedge and want to check the border. Thanks

Gil - the application was cancelled in April 2018.

Thank you. I am assuming no further applications were made later and the unregistered land in question remains as before. I also assume the boundary with the unregistered strip of NK 179003 and NK494002 are the same and the conveyancer did not include some land in error when it was sold as the neighbour thinks its his?
Thank you for a quick reply. Can i also ask that if an adverse possession claim is listed on your ritle register with documents pending that you are likely to register it and not removeit when you've looked more closely?

Gill - there's nothing to indicate a later application being submitted or any changes made to the still 'live' titles you refer to. I note however you have submitted your own application recently under provisional title NK535984 and this is waiting to be processed. That application relates to a parcel of unregistered land between you and your neighbour.
Once processing is underway there are three key stages 1) is your claim in order re the facts provided 2) a site visit to check and confirm the 'lie of the land' and 3) wider checks inc notifying neighbouring land and property owners (similar to the type made re the neighbour's failed claim.
Contact will be made with you as appropriate re stages 1 and then 2 if reached.
