Hi Linda - no reason at all re acceptance of the application and expediting it. The issue re the application being in order is then crucial to us being able to process them swiftly and without having to raise any issues with the solicitor or make wider checks.
So it's all about applying, then requesting expedition and then seeing if all ok or more is needed.

o.k. thanks so looking at the restrictions,as long as the correct info is received by yourselves (allowing any extra info you may need) It wouldn't be refused if the forms were all filled in correctly, submitted & you had all the info received? What I'm getting at is providing it's in order & you have all you need the restrictions will be removed? I understand that you need everything in order to be able to process it. No one can understand why the seller's solicitor won't provide the necessary certificates and has chosen this more complicated process but we just need to get to exchange before we too, loose our buyers. Thanks again for your help

Linda - Yes to all. But the initial focus should be on 1) applying and 2) getting it expedited. It's then the third stage re is it all ok and sufficient to achieve what you need that won;t be known until it's fully considered by our specialist caseworkers

Thanks for your help yet again. I have an alert set up so I should see when the application is made by our seller's solicitor which should be in the next day or two so everything crossed!

Hello again,

The application has been made yesterday and requested expedited.

Are you able to give me any update yet please. We are under time pressure from our buyers so need this sorting as soon as possible or the house sale could fall through.many thanks

Hello Linda - submitted at 2pm yesterday and expedited. So it should be considered as soon as possible. The nature of the restrictions and the multiple cancellation requests will need to be considered by a senior officer/lawyer so the key now is everything being in order and sufficient to cancel the restrictions as applied for.

Hello,I noted today that another application has been made by the trust solicitors as well. Can you tell me what's happening please!

Posted Mon, 15 Jan 2024 14:05:27 GMT by Adam Hookway

Linda - the original application was considered and then cancelled as it was not in order or capable of being registered. The solicitor has now resubmitted a fresh application which will then need to be considered

It doesn't look as if they have expedited the second one so I will ask colleagues to expedite it so that it is processed as soon as possible

Hi,
Can you help.I know the first application was rejected & another made by the trust solicitor NOT the conveyancing solicitor. However,my seller is saying that the first one IS being processed not the 2nd one? Can you throw any light on this please! Just  urgently need to know that all is o.k. and it will go through so the house sale/purchase doesn't fall through. Thanks
