Historical owner

Hello, I recently bought a Title Register for a property and can see the registered owners. The property was sold in 2024. I really need to know the names of the previous owners. Is there any way to uncover this information online, or do I need to post in a HC1?

Hello Oliver - you can apply using form HC1 for a previous edition of the register. You'll need the edition date though to ensure you get the previous ownership detail
The alternative is form OC2 and applying for a copy of the Transfer from the previous owner to the current one - the date of that transfer may be on the current register as part of the price paid entry
