Hello,
I’m hoping this is the correct place to post.
I’m currently going through a remortgage after porting my mortgage to a new property. I moved in 4 months ago and was told by my original conveyancer that the application to Land Registry went in at the time. However, the solicitor assisting with the remortgage has let me know that the Land Registry titles are still not in my name and these are required by 31st July.
I’m number 221, B45 8QJ. Is someone able to check what the hold up might be?
kind regards,
Kara

Hello Kara - we are waiting to a full response to a request for more information. We contacted the conveyancer yesterday to explain what was still required. You'll need to speak to them to confirm and to clarify when they expect to respond in full
WM215713

Hi Francesca - if they post it then things can get 'lost' but as they have applied electronically then that isn't the case
The 'they' as far as I am concerned are Wilkin Chapman and our last contact with them was on the 2nd July when they asked for more time and that was granted. They are the conveyancer who have applied to register 3 Rosevear
There is then a second application to transfer the remainder of title CL203637 and submitted by Chubb Bulleid Limited. They too had issues but have replied in full it seems
I wonder if you are perhaps referring to a different 'they', namely Chubb Bulleid Limited?
If you are then it is the other conveyancer, Wilkin Chapman, who need chasing for a response as until their application is completed we can't complete the later one from Chubb Bulleid Limited
CL203637

Hi Eleanor - the notice period expired yesterday. The case goes back to the casework team to check contact channels for any replies before it can be completed
I'll check for an update from the team as it's a manual, not automatic, process
CH117267

Eleanor - we don't calculate an average re such specific matters but if it doesn't need to be referred upwards then it can happen quite swiftly, in days normally
CH117267

Hi Francesca - they have replied (yesterday) so that goes back to the casework team to review. Hopefully they have provided satisfactory responses to all the points raised and the application can be completed
I will check with the casework team for an update but suspect I may not be able to share anything concrete until Monday at the soonest
At least things may be able to move forward more positively from here
CL203637

Hi Francesca - the casework team have gone back to the conveyancer for Roseveare to explain what's still needed. Unfortunately their reply did not satisfy matters sufficiently. So the delay remains I'm afraid
CL203637

Hi Francesca - no, the time is extended. There are a number of issues to be resolved still. I'd suggest you speak to your own conveyancer to see if they can make contact to impress the need to respond quickly
CL203637
