I want to know what charges, third party interest and anything else are on the register - how do I do that?<br> That includes charging orders and other debts

<p>We can't confirm what' on the register by phone/email/letter or on the forum<br> The registered details are 'open' to all so if at any time you or someone else want to check what the register states then you can do so either <a href="https://www.gov.uk/search-property-information-land-registry">online or by post</a></p> <p>If you want to know a title number; who owns a property; whether there's a registered charge/debt; any restrictions; noted leases; restrictive covenants or anything else then check online or apply by post</p> <p></p>

Hi Land Registry the office copy filed at the Land Registry still has my previous surname and not my married name of Marie Angela Nelson is this something that you are able to change as we are currently in the process of selling our home?<br> <br> Kind regards,<br> <br> Marie A Nelson

<p>Hi Marie - if you mean the register refers to your previous name then sometimes you do need to<a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/change-the-register-ap1/guidance-change-your-name-after-marriage-or-civil-partnership"> update it </a>prior to a sale/purchase. But check with your conveyancer as often a buyer can rely on the register plus a copy of your marriage certificate to exchange/complete</p>
