Hi. We are currently in the process of purchasing a property, and our solicitor has identified two incorrect restrictions recorded in the property’s Title Register. I was informed that the seller’s solicitor had applied for the removal of both restrictions. However, I was subsequently notified that while the standard restriction had been removed, an incorrect restriction had been left in its place. The seller’s solicitor has since submitted an application to have the incorrect restriction removed and the correct restriction reinstated. It has now been five months, and we are still experiencing delays regarding these restrictions. We have not received any updates for some time.
