Hi,

We're got a charge in our Leasehold title (section a7 AGL395015) that relates to the former landlords bank. We're in the middle of selling our house and the buyers solicitor is asking for this to be removed - should this be a barrier?

They've confirmed there is no active charge on the freeholders title (NGL211054). How can I get this removed if not?

Thanks

Note the title is incorrect I meant Leasehold Title not Freeholder.

Hi Nicholas - it's not for us to state whether it's a barrier or not but as it is for the buyer's conveyancer/lender you should apply to cancel it as appropriate.
Your conveyancer can apply using form AP1 plus supporting eviudence to show that the landlord's title is no longer subject the to the charge referred to
Once submitted they can request expedition to hasten the processing
AGL395015
