Hi Adam,

We've completed transfer of equity on the 30th Jan (exchanged), and waiting our solicitors to submit to Land Registry. Since we have a outstanding Help to Buy Partial Repayment pending and the RICs report is due to expired in 4 weeks, and we can not move forward unless the title deed is updated. We'd like to have an update on our title deed please, tried our solicitors but no joy. Thank you!

Hi there,

We completed on our house (Postcode RM12 6LH) on 07 January 2025. Do you know when the title deeds will be updated, thanks in advance

Hi S Ju - wait times can be lengthy so you should expect to wait 4+ months on average if it's not a new build. Your conveyancer can check on progress and give you an estimated completion date re the registration

Hi
we are still waiting on the land registry. We want to be completed this month but all that is outstanding is for the land registry to respond. How long does it take to register the lease and update the title ?

Address 2 Griffin Terrace Penrhyndeudraeth LL48 6LR. Do you know how long this process would take please? Thank you

Hi

I completed a DJP form and sent death certificate to have my late partners name removed from the title deeds, but I have not heard anything and when I checked the deeds these still haven't changed. I am wanting to sell the property.
I have looked for a phone number or email to contact but can not find anyway to communicate with anyone. Please can anyone advise. Thank you

At the end of March 2024 we purchased the freehold of 1 Fernview Drive Ramsbottom BL0 9XB. The land registry was updated in 2006 to show my daughters as proprietors (title no. MAN38920) when the property was put into a trust. My solicitor has said that they are waiting for you to update the register to show the property is now freehold not leasehold, but I am beginning to wonder if it is them causing the delay as it's 12 months since I paid for the freehold.

Hi Adam,

Not sure whether this forum is still monitored.

I am in the process of purchasing a leasehold property, and the seller's solicitors are in contact with land registry regarding an update to the lease on record (certified copy of the original lease to be annexed to the existing records, and the removal of a void document which was apparently incorrectly annexed during a previous sale).

However, this has been sitting with land registry for over a month according to the seller's solicitors, and is causing a delay to the purchase.

Are you able to check where this is please, and whether HMLR are waiting on anything from the solicitors?
