Hello, I am just checking if there are any applications against title EX896641 to have a standard Form L restriction added to the proprietorship register. Our conveyancer should have contacted HMLR about this as the restriction was contained in the original TP1 in clause 12.10.2 but the restriction was never added by HMLR at the time.

Please could you check if my conveyancer has done this and if possible expedited it as we are at risk of our chain collapsing, as we cannot exchange without this restriction added to the title.

Hello Lewis - no application submitted but a conveyancer contacted us on the 17th Jan to query why the restriction had not been added to the register. As there's no application the expedite process does not apply
The support team will review the saved information and respond as soon as possible - they are aware of the urgency

Thanks Adam - appreciate the swift reply. We are hoping it is a quick fix. If there’s anything I can do, please let me know.

Hi Adam, I followed up with a phone call today and found out that the Land Registry were investigating. Is there any updates at all please? Title number for reference is EX896641. The missing restriction is in the original transfer in clause 12.10.2 where a copy is filed with the Land Registry.

Thanks again for your help, Lewis

Hi Lewis - nothing to update as yet. The support team assisted and said they would update you as and when something concrete to share it seems. There's no point/need in duplicating enquiry channels and I'd suggest waiting for them to do as suggested

Thanks Adam for your reply and apologies for any frustration caused - just this is preventing us from exchange so wanted to help speed things along where possible.

Thanks again Lewis

Lewis - understood and appreciated so no frustration here and no need for an apology.
Just wanted to flag that this forum operates quite separately from the support team handling phone/email enquiries. As such duplication can risk misunderstanding/confusion as different information is exchanged and responded to.
The record of the phone enquiry states that the support team would keep you updated

Thanks Adam, it's all been sorted now. Thank you so much to yourself and the customer support representative Casey for turning this around. It is much appreciated.
