Trying to get transaction details of a previous transfer of a parcel of land

Hi. We owned a parcel of land which we have now sold. I am trying to get evidence of our original purchase such as the price paid and date etc. Is this available from the Land Registry and can this be done online? If I look up the parcel now, of course, it only shows the current purchase, not earlier ones. Hope you can help. Many thanks.

Hi Adam and thanks for your reply. I went through the contact form process. It didn't appear to give me a chance to enter anything other than my contact details and to choose one of a multi-choice list, then told me it had submitted the form. Presumably someone will get in touch by email for the details of the information I require? Many thanks
