Status of an application to amend the title

Title number: MAN390305. My solicitor made an application to amend the title to show the yearly rentcharge is no longer applicable. She said in June 2025 she had submitted a certified copy of the Transfer of Ownership, but I haven't heard anything since. Has it been dealt with, and if not, how long do you estimate it will take based on current timescales. Thanks so much for your assistance.

Sue K - there are two applications from the same conveyancer and the second one you refer to cannot complete until the first one has been fully processed. We are currently waiting for more from the conveyancer. Our last contact was on 26th Jan giving them more time to respond. You will need to seek confirmation and clarification from your conveyancer as to what the delay is and when they hope to respond MAN390305

Thanks very much. I asked them for an update in October 2025 and have chased twice since then, but they are not responding. I will try them again. Thanks again for providing the information. Are you able to tell me what the two applications are for?

Sue K - the first is for the transfer of the rentcharge and the second is for cancellation of the rentcharge. I would suggest escalating the matter with the conveyancer firm as appropriate MAN390305
