Solicitor has been suspended - How do I check progress of application

Hi,<br> I completed on my property in May, I have just been informed that the conveyancing solicitor has been suspended. How can I check if the leasehold and freehold details have a) been submitted and b) are in the process of being amended?<br> <br> TYIA

The application as lodged is only against the leasehold title. The Transfer (form TR1) is also only against the leasehold title. But I note that the legal charge (mortgage) refers to both title numbers.&#160;IF you purchased both the freehold and leasehold titles and mortgaged both then the application needs to be amended - I would recommend discussing with your new firm or using the same contact form to make it clear as to what has happened and what the application should be for, namely both titles or just the leasehold.
