When we bought a flat in 2017 (me and my wife), we have ticked the anti fraud restriction check so that it has been added in the title. But during every re-mortgage it causes extra cost so that we want to remove it. Can I fill the RX4 form ourselves and send to the land registry, or should I need a solicitor for this

(13.02.2018) RESTRICTION: No disposition of the registered estate by the proprietor of the registered estate is to be registered without a certificate signed by a conveyancer that the conveyancer is satisfied that the person who executed the document submitted for registration as disponor is the same person as the proprietor.

Thavarajah - you can apply yourself using form RX3 (not RX4) but you will also need a conveyancer's certificate to comply with the restriction wording to confirm that you are the same person as worded.
