Good Afternoon Jonathan - progress it seems in so far as they have now supplied a statement of truth (18th June) and the case is now on referral for a senior officer to consider same and approve matters or decide next steps/ask for more.
It's still an expedite so that referral will be actioned asap but I can't be definitive re timescales sadly at this stage

Does this mean that the charge has been removed and there is nothing stopping the sale from going ahead from a land registry perspective?

Hi Jonathan - it has been removed. I can't answer your other Q as that's one for your conveyancer/buyer to answer but can't see why it can't now go ahead if the charge was the barrier
