Can I ask a creditor to withdraw a restriction application

I have received an application to register a restriction against my property following an unpaid CCJ (I was unemployed for the first 5 months of this year) As it has not been registered yet, is there anyway that the creditor would withdraw the application if a suitable proposal was made ?
